Accountability on Steroids

You’re probably going to hate hearing this…

…but for many physicians, the most reliable way to consistently prioritize health and fitness is to get it done EARLY — before the day starts taking pieces of your schedule, energy, and attention.

Not because early morning workouts are magical.

And not because everyone must become some ultra-hardcore “rise and grind” person.

But because physicians operate in an environment where:

  • schedules change,

  • emergencies happen,

  • stress accumulates,

  • and by the end of the day there’s often very little energy left for yourself.

One reason I’ve always appreciated concepts like The 5 AM Club is not really the hour itself…

…it’s the idea of intentionally reclaiming a small portion of the day before the world starts making demands on you.

A simple framework I’ve used personally and with high performers:

-10 minutes movement(bodyweight or kettlebells)

-10 minutes breathwork(reset the nervous system)

-10 minutes visualization/planning(intentional focus before the chaos begins)

30 minutes total.

Then: high-protein breakfast, hydration, and attack the day with momentum already established.

That’s also why I believe so strongly in simple at-home workouts and structured accountability systems.

No commute. No wasted time. No decision fatigue. No depending on motivation after a 12-hour shift.

Just structure. Consistency. Momentum.

The goal is not perfection, but to have a system that still works during difficult weeks — because those are the weeks that usually determine long-term success. I will do this at 5am (in your local time zone) live on zoom. Just drop a note below and I will send you the invite. Ideally with kettlebells, or just bodyweight if necessary. Show up, follow along, then text me a pic of your high protein breakfast. No decision fatigue or your end, this is Done-For-You.
